Location

El Rito is 30 minutes away from Espanola; take highway 84, turnoff on highway 554. The Espanola campus is a half hour's drive from Santa Fe, off of highway 84/285. El Rito population, 500; Espanola, 32,000.

Management

A five member Board of Regents appointed by the Governor of New Mexico. Jose Griego, Ph.D., has been president of Northern since 2005.

Admission Requirements

Northern has an Open Admission Policy. Students are accepted who have never attended college before. If a student wishes to obtain a degree or certificate from Northern, he/she must: be a high school graduate, have passed GED test, or be a transfer student in good standing.
