The Educational Opportunity Center is a federally funded project authorized by Public Law 94-482, Section 124, Title IV of the Higher Education Act. At this time, there are 74 projects throughout the United States. All EOC's provide services which will extend post-secondary education opportunities to people who are low income, first generation college bound and are adults. The NMEOC has served eight north-central New Mexico counties for 22 years, providing services to over 50,000 clients.

Information about technical/vocational schools, colleges and universities.
Educational, financial and career counseling.
Assistance with forms and compiling information you need to apply for admission and financial aid.
Help in registering for required examinations or other entrance tests.
Information about GED programs.
Campus visits.

Who will EOC help?
EOC is funded to assist the disadvantaged adult.
EOC provides its services free of charge.
EOC has no money for educational funds, but helps in locating sources of financial aid for its participants.
